I absolutely loved this selection of reading. Kant’s metaphor of teaching the cattle how not to stray I think has a great similarity to how we act as children in our parents’ household. He speaks of a man trying to carry out tutelage which is possibly one of the most difficult things in Kant’s eyes, but I actually bed to differ. Seeing as how I have been independent for the majority of my life, living with tutelage is the norm for me. I have never been very keen on making decision based of the direction of another man nor have I ever been uncourageous enough to not use my own reason. While I understand that normal people might struggle with this, I seem to be quite the oddball. Ultimately, my question to you, nerd herd, is do you find tutelage to be difficult or easy to carry out in your life?
