You ever get tired of hearing the history teachers repeat every year about why history is an important subject to learn? It's important so we can learn not to repeat the same mistakes as we did in the past. It's like how parents let you fail on the small lessons or punish you are young so you can learn when you're young from your mistakes. Sometimes no matter how many warnings we have we still manage to do whatever stupid thing it is. Adam and Eve in paradise lost had plenty of warning, the Israelites continued to make the same mistakes over and over again. And before you agree with me on that we continue to make the very same mistakes they do even though we have the bible that records what happened plus our mistakes and we have much better records. It could be argued that even Satan had warning before he fell as he was one of God`s angels and the fall happen outside of time maybe? Anyway, make to actually pay attention to the old testament next time. It might be hard to get through sometimes but is also important and listen to the history and lessons others teach you.
