Psalms 103:12

Hey guys! So, while I did not understand most of the reading I did, I did pick up one thing: Satan wanted to be forgiven, but knew that he could not be. It says is Book four that Satan becomes really conflicted with his evil nature when he sees the innocence and purity of Earth when he is standing outside of the Garden of Eden, and he even contemplates repenting and asking God for forgiveness. He also knows, however, that if he were to ask for forgiveness, it would be 100% fake. Satan is the symbol for sin and treason, and he knows it. He knows that Hell will always be with him and there is no escaping it.

I completely understood where Satan is coming from. In my past, I have made a lot of mistakes that I have thought to be unforgivable by God. But what I have realized is this: No matter what I have done, God ALWAYS forgive. Hell does not follow me around any longer. I. AM. SAVED. I have asked for forgiveness and I know that my merciful God always forgives. I just had to mean it when I asked for forgiveness, which I did. It is kind of strange relating to Satan. I don't want to, but here I am.

There is a Bible verse that I want to share with everyone. Psalms 103:12 says, "As far as the East is from the West, so far He has removed our transgressions from us." No matter how little or how great the sin we commit is, God removes it from us. This Bible verse has literally changed my whole life, and I am glad to be reading a book that I can bring this verse into.

Other than this one part of this book, I haven't understood much of what I have been reading. This is just something personal that I could relate to and so I thought it would be good to share:)

ALSO!!!! My comments STILL are not working. I will bring in comments written down to class.

Going off your point when you say "No matter how little or how great the sin we commit is, God removes it from us," is a satisfying feeling ya know? Ephesians 4 tells how Jesus ascended high from a pit so that we can live a life filled with happiness, and if we wallow in that pit, we can't find a way to change our lives without his guidance. Love the verse you used too Mary Emma!

I always love reading the blogs people make personal. Even though you didn't specify, you still opened up and I really appreciate that! People mess up. Humans sin. No one is perfect, and God does forgive! We do have to be careful though not to live in sin, and saying "we are human so it's ok" is not an excuse. Romans 6:1 talks about how we as humans cannot live in sin so that grace would about more because we cannot live in something we have died to (that being sin). I really liked your post!

We have a way to be seen as pure and made clean through Christ Jesus. Satan does not. He does not have a means of forgiveness outside of just goin to God and asking for it. Adam was not provided this privilege. Why would God give it to Satan?
