Honestly, I feel as if the fall gave Adam, and even human kind a better purpose. Before the fall, Adam and Eve had some reasons to praise God, but, although they were definitely sufficient reasons, it seems as if they had more purpose and fulfillment through worshiping, praising, and following God after the Fall. Yes, He created them from nothing, sustained them, and held them in such high regard, but after they gave passage to Sin and Death into the world and doomed humanity, He still found a way to save them. It also wasn't just a "patch-up job" either. God and the Son beautifully worked out how to save humanity and give humanity the choice to follow him and live a godly lifestyle so well that it almost seems as if it wouldn't have been right any other way. It feels as if this was the way it was supposed to go, because it gives people so much more purpose. Human kind didn't deserve redemption, but the love and glory of God and the Son is so amazing that they saved us anyway.
I also like how Adam and Eve receive some reconciliation before they leave the Garden. They leave on almost happy terms, because, instead of just being kicked out and believing that they doomed humanity to the point of no return and that they will be forever disconnected to God, Michael tells Adam of the future and what wonder and fulfillment is to come. He also tells him that he can pray to God whenever and wherever he is. Instead of God just kicking them out and making them feel like they are failures forever, He still loves them enough to make sure that they know they are cared for and that it will all work out.
Did anyone else see the same stuff I did? Also, did anyone else feel that A-team, "I love it when a plan comes together" moment?
