Within the book, David Hume shows an argumentative claim on how creation came about. He discusses the idea on how our universe may somehow not be infinite and the idea that our universe may not be all that it's worked up to be. It may be a "lousy" universe. WRONG!!! We should know we serve a perfect and just God. God's master plan takes time whether its from our creation or the creation of land and animals. I love the term he describes us and the Earth in Genesis as, "being made in his image." God created everything there is - the heavens, earth, plants, and animals. When God finished creating everything else, he then chose to make people in his image. "Being made in his image" does not mean that God created us exactly like himself, especially in a physical sense. Instead, we are reflections of God's glory. We can reflect his characteristics like love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and faithfulness. The universe created by the ONLY God shouldn't be deemed lousy. It should be described as good because God saw it was good. Hume has forced me into a headache so that's the only thing I want to thank him for, but other than that... I'm beyond happy to sorta be done with this.
