Mary Wollstonecraft is difficult to understand at least for me because of the heightened vocabulary and because it's difficult to imagine the situation she is in because I am a man and because today's society doesn't carry the same thought process anymore. Well, the majority don't. While I do agree with Mary in that it is because of man's oppression that has caused women to be in this position it seems, at least to me, that some women believe equality to be an eye for an eye. It is this mentality that drives them to fight for a position of power over men instead of equality with them. Now, this is not true of all women and perhaps not even a majority but in a time where anything can be found and learned through the internet, the minority has a much louder voice than ever before in history. It is only a matter of time before that voice becomes deafening and everyone will be forced to take a stand and provide a reason for their beliefs.
