I personally thought that the notion of our perceptions and realities was quite interesting. I completely agree with the author and have spent a great deal of time thinking about how even if I were to do something new every day, I would never even begin to experience all of the world.
The extremes of our reality are something I never considered though, and deeply intrigued me. After all, we are all at college to reach the end of that spectrum, complete knowledge of a subject. And if gaining complete knowledge of a general subject takes four years, imagine how long to fully understand the world?
It just seemed like one of the many things in the world that make us feel minuscule, both physically and mentally. Did it put this in perspective for anyone else?
