In the vindication of the rights of woman, Wollstonecraft was highly judgmental in my opinion. In chapter 10 she claimed that in order for a woman to be the caretaker that she was intended to be, she must be educated. I do agree that if a woman is educated then it gives her an advantage over other women but it shouldn't bring her worth down. A woman can take care of her children just as well whether she has an education and knows that sort of knowledge or if she knows things by experience. I also just don't understand or agree how breastfeeding her children affects how they grow up. She says that if you hire people to nurture your children you should not be surprised when their children turn away from them. Yes, I know infants will bond better when they are born but that isn't gong to affect how they act as teenagers or adults in my opinion. Some moms don't have a choice for health reasons or work. I don't think healthy mom and babies generally choose to be apart. I think the arguments that Wollstonecraft has are good points that can make us think about our opinion. I don't agree with her but it creates an interesting argument.
